Cover 1 zone Man to man bump and run.
    or
Cover 3 zone, user middle linebacker.
    or
    Cover 2 zone
    Or
Cover 0 blitz, but playmaker your linebackers into hook zones(so sick, always throws off the read of the opponent, usually they throw the slant right in the waiting hands of the linebacker waiting over the middle.

    or you can play
Cover 2 zone and back off coverage
(This will further invite your opponent to throw the quick slant, because hewill see defenders backed off thinking your giving away the quick throw...lolol. MISTAKE on his part....pick 6 if your linebackers are any good.)
Disadvantages come with all of the above, but be creative....
You give up something on EVERY play call..but knowing the strengths and weaknesses is what will make you nice.

Sometimes, you actually want to play cover 3 zone, BACKUP COVERAGE, and GIVE them them the slant a couple of plays....
then you play cover 2 back up coverage, Looks exactly the same....they think its open....andd................

    Lol you know the rest.
